DYNASYLAN HYDROSIL 2909

DYNASILAN HYDROSIL 2909 is an organosilicon compound based on water therefore containing no volatile organic constituents. It provides increased product and processing reliability with no liberation of flammable organic constituents and a flash point of more than 95°C. This allows for process flexibility and processing at elevated temperatures and in the vicinity of ignition sources or static charge. DYNASILAN HYDROSIL 2909 directly applicable in water based systems, offering environmental protection as hydrolysis does not result in liberation of volatile organic substances. It acts as a binder or co-binder in water based sol-gel systems. As an additive for water-borne solutions, DYNASILAN HYDROSIL 2909 improves adhesion between inorganic materials and organic polymers for long lasting finishes.
