PRAEPAGEN WKT-E

PRAEPAGEN WKT-E is a cationic surfactant that contributes to accelerate the decolorization process. It has two different acting modes. The first one consist on the interaction of the nonpolar organic chain of the PRAEPAGEN WKT-E molecule, insoluble in water, with the colorants molecules, soluble in water, forming an complex of PRAEPAGEN WKT-E/colorant insoluble in water easy to remove. The second mode consists on the interaction between the cationic charge of PRAEPAGEN WKT-E and the anionic charge of impurities, forming a insoluble particle, that followed by a carbonation and phosphatisation, flocculates which facilitates its removal.
