BAYTEC ENC 55P is a 450-molecular-weight polyether triol containing trimethylolpropane (TMP). This polyol is typically used in combination with other chemicals to produce solid polyurethanes with a heat deflection temperature of 70°C (158°F). BAYTEC ENC 55P provides excellent thermal and mechanical properties suitable for applications in the advanced materials industry that require durable encapsulation and sealing at higher operating temperatures. Typical applications include battery sealing, cable joint sealing, and encapsulation of electrical components. BAYTEC ENC 55P polyol offers benefits like clear, viscous liquid properties and flash point of 188 °C making it suitable for manufacturing processes involving heat. Its low acid number and viscosity also contribute to more consistent production of high-performance advanced materials.
