Dynasylan SIVO 550 is a concentrated form of silica in liquidstate, based on an ethylpolysilicate with a high silicon dioxidecontent of aprox. 46%.Dynasylan SIVO 550 is formed in the presence of water fromtetraethyl silicate (Si[OEt]4) by partial hydrolysis of the ethoxygroups to hydroxyl groups and subsequent condensation withformation of siloxane bonds (-Si-O-Si-). Properties of Dynasylan SIVO 550:is a colorless to slightly yellow low-viscosity liquidhas a high Boiling Point (> 290 C)shows a high Flash Point offering safe handlingreleases less VOC compared to traditionalethylpolysilicates
