TEGO AIREX 978

TEGO Airex 978 is a strong deaerator concentrate that provides excellent effectiveness against micro- and macro-foam in high viscosity applications. It is a very suitable additive for pigmented formulations requiring outstanding performance. TEGO Airex 978 contains dimethyl polysiloxanes and fumed silica, making it solvent-free and suitable for higher viscosity materials. Its key benefits include effective defoaming and excellent performance even at higher viscosities. This allows for improved flow and leveling of coatings. It can be added before grinding and must be incorporated with sufficiently high shear to disperse uniformly.
