SILIKOPON ED (FORMERLY SILIKOFTAL ED)

SILIKOPON ED (FORMERLY SILIKOFTAL ED) is a silicone epoxy hybrid resin suitable for ultra high solids coatings (< 100 g/l VOC) with excellent color and gloss retention. It cures at ambient temperature in combination with aminosilanes, providing a non isocyanate curing mechanism. Suitable for protective and transportation applications requiring durability and longevity. As a water-insoluble resin, SILIKOPON ED (FORMERLY SILIKOFTAL ED) is ideal for solventborne and high-solids coatings used in demanding outdoor environments. When combined with other resins, it offers formulation flexibility and performance properties critical for applications involving exposure.
