ANTISCORCHING AGENT PVI

PVI (N-Cyclohexylthiophthalimide, CTP) is a highly efficient pre-vulcanization inhibitor used in sulfur-cured rubber systems. It functions by selectively delaying the onset of crosslinking reactions, providing excellent scorch control and enhancing processing safety during mixing, extrusion, and molding operations. PVI exhibits a linear and predictable retarding effect without significantly affecting the final cure rate or crosslink density. It is suitable for both natural and synthetic rubbers and enables higher processing temperatures, improved compound stability, and reduced risk of premature vulcanization.
