Mondur MR is an aromatic polymeric isocyanate based on diphenylmethane-diisocyanate (MDI). It has a minimum NCO content of 31.0 wt.% and viscosity of 150-250 mPas at 25°C. Mondur MR polyisocyanate is primarily used in the manufacture of rigid polyurethane foams, binders, adhesives, and low duty elastomers. As an isocyanate, Mondur MR reacts with polyols to form polyurethanes with high strength and durability properties ideal for advanced material applications. The dark brown liquid Mondur MR offers material engineers a versatile building block for developing high-performance advanced composites, coatings and other engineered materials through its chemical reactivity and processing versatility.
