OCTOCRYLENE

Organic sunscreen soluble in oils and with its activity against UVB radiation. It is used in sunscreen and waterproof applications. It is recommended to mix it with other filters such as benzophenone-3 to enhance the SPF. It is not affected by metals present in the formulation and is effective at various pH. It can be used in silicone emulsions between 0.3-1%.
