DYNASLYAN OCTEO is a clear colorless liquid silane that is soluble in common non-polar organic solvents. It exhibits low volatility and viscosity making it easy to handle. DYNASYLAN OCTEO can be used as a surface modifier to generate hydrophobicity on various substrates. Its medium-chain alkyl functionality results in unique properties when incorporated into formulations. It improves compatibility between inorganic materials and organic polymers or solvents, allowing for easy dispersion. Loading levels of 0.5 to 1.5wt.% DYNASYLAN OCTEO based on the weight of inorganic materials are typically recommended.
