BENTONE EW NA

Bentone® EW NA is highly beneficiated smectite clay-based rheology additive. It enhances texturing and stippling effects, improves workability and promotes fast water release. It provides thermostable aqueous phase viscosity control and imparts thixotropy. It provides good stability in electrostatic coating baths and minimizes floating/flooding of pigments. Bentone® EW NA is suitable for corrosion-inhibitive primers, electrodeposition coatings, latex paints and foundry paints. It is designed for use in paper coatings and waterborne paint systems. Recommended use level is 0.1-1.0% additive by weight of total formulation.
