TEGO RAD 2300

TEGO Rad 2300 is an efficient non-foaming, radically cross-linkable substrate wetting and slip additive recommended for high shear applications and the wetting of low energy substrates. TEGO Rad 2300 is a clear liquid chemical that is soluble in common solvents and imparts excellent substrate wetting and flow promotion properties to formulations. As a silicone acrylate product, TEGO Rad 2300 enables radical cross-linking and provides benefits such as release, defoaming and clarity when used in pigmented and clear coatings. Only very small addition levels of 0.1-1.0% of TEGO Rad 2300 are required to achieve the mentioned benefits. The product is suitable for solvent and water-based coating systems and can be added as supplied or prediluted. Stored properly, TEGO Rad 2300 has a long shelf life and is compatible for typical applications in the industry where superior substrate wetting, flow and leveling are important.
