DESMOMELT 540/3

DESMOMELT 540/3 is a flexible polyurethane hot melt adhesive with high rate of crystallization and low thermoplasticity. It is suitable for manufacturing adhesive films and fleeces used for bonding various materials like leather, textiles, wood fiberboards and plastics including polyurethane elastomers and flexible PVC used in Advanced Materials industry. DESMOMELT 540/3 offers outstanding adhesion to a wide range of substrates with high initial bond strength and thermal stability important for Advanced Materials applications. It provides excellent adhesion to plasticized materials and can be easily processed at minimum activation temperature of 60°C. The product solubility in solvents like MEK and acetone along with swellability in solvent mixtures enables uniform coating of adhesive on substrate surfaces essential for manufacturing high quality Advanced Materials.
