DESMODUR ULTRA DA-L

DESMODUR ULTRA DA-L is a hydrophilic aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate. It is a liquid polyisocyanate that can be emulsified in aqueous polymer dispersions. DESMODUR ULTRA DA-L raises the resistance of bonds to heat, water, plasticizers and numerous solvents when used as a crosslinking agent for largely pH-neutral aqueous polymer dispersions, such as polyurethane, polyvinylacetate, polyacrylate and synthetic rubber dispersions. An addition of 3 - 10 % by weight DESMODUR ULTRA DA-L is recommended for crosslinking 100 pbw of an adhesive dispersion with a polymer content of 40 - 60 % by weight, providing advanced materials with improved durability in various environmental conditions.
