DESMODUR LU-D90

DESMODUR LU-D90 is a polyurethane prepolymer that can be used with MOCA as a chain extender to produce thermoplastic polyurethanes with Shore A hardness of approximately 90A. DESMODUR LU-D90 has a NCO content of 4.15% (+/- 0.2) and provides excellent processing properties with a viscosity of around 750 cP and melting point of 80°C, making it well-suited for production processes. When combined with MOCA as a chain extender, DESMODUR LU-D90 can produce TPUs with high tensile strength of 56 MPa, elongation of 600% and tear strength of 119 kN/m, giving materials with outstanding toughness and durability. These properties make materials produced using DESMODUR LU-D90 ideal for applications in industries that require high performance materials with resistance to abrasion and cuts, such as Advanced Materials. DESMODUR LU-D90 allows formulating TPUs with a unique balance of mechanical properties for manufacturing durable, high quality components for the Advanced Materials industry.
