White to pale yellow crystalline powder/granule. Its active ingredient is Sodium Hyaluronate, it is one of the major components in the extracellular matrix, which is relevant for cellular protection, osmoregulation and moisturization. Sodium hyaluronate, being a salt, attracts environmental water and binds it in the spaces present between elastin and collagen. As it has a low molecular weight (10,000 - 60,000 Da), it can penetrate the skin easily, enlarging the blood capillaries and this influences a greater flow of blood to the face, improving the nutrition of the skin deeply. It is recommended in creams, lotions, milks, cleansers, facial repair routines, lipsticks and pre/after shaving products. Normally used between 0.1 - 0.8%. The handling pH is between 6 and 8.
