DYNASYLAN 1189

DYNASLYAN 1189 is a bifunctional silane possessing a reactive secondary amine and hydrolyzable methoxysilyl groups. The dual nature of its reactivity allows DYNASYLAN 1189 to bind chemically to both inorganic materials and organic polymers thus functioning as an adhesion promoter or as a surface modifier. DYNASYLAN 1189 can improve processing properties and provide benefits like improved adhesion, filler dispersion, reduction in viscosity and higher filler loading. It can be applied as a primer or additive and improves properties like flexural strength, tensile strength, impact strength and modulus of elasticity. DYNASYLAN 1189 also provides benefits like improved moisture and corrosion resistance which makes it suitable for applications involving substrates exposed to weathering.
