TEGO GLIDE 494

TEGO GLIDE 494 is a high molecular weight polydimethylsiloxane emulsion that provides very good slip and anti-blocking properties as well as good rub resistance in waterborne formulations. TEGO GLIDE 494 creates a soft and slippery touch and is free of aromatic solvents and tin. It can be diluted with water in nearly any ratio and provides benefits like flow promotion, clarity in varnishes, slip effect, degassing effect, anti-crater effect and anti-blocking/release effect which are highly useful in applications that require these properties. TEGO GLIDE 494 is suitable for waterborne systems and helps overcome common issues faced during the coating application and curing process.
