SILIKOPHEN P 80X

SILIKOPHEN P 80X is a methylphenyl polysiloxane resin that provides excellent air-drying properties and good compatibility with organic resins. It has a delivery form of clear to slightly hazy liquid with an active matter content of approx. 80%. SILIKOPHEN P 80X is suitable for solventborne high solids clear coat and pigmented direct grind resin-based pigment concentrates. When stored properly, SILIKOPHEN P 80X has a shelf life of at least 12 months. It can be used in high temperature applications up to 650°C, making it suitable for anti-corrosion coatings and applications requiring heat resistance like ovens, chimneys etc. SILIKOPHEN P 80X offers temporary corrosion protection immediately after air-drying and develops full protective properties once coated objects reach operating temperature, allowing handling and transport without intermediate baking.
