DESMODUR HL BA

DESMODUR HL BA is an aromatic/aliphatic polyisocyanate based on toluylene diisocyanate/ hexamethylene diisocyanate. It can be used in combination with various Desmophen® grades or other suitable substances containing hydroxyl groups to formulate clear or pigmented, two-component polyurethane coatings characterized by rapid drying and good lightfastness. DESMODUR HL BA offers rapid initial drying and early sandability which is particularly advantageous when formulating coatings for advanced material applications. With just a few coats, it can easily achieve high-bodied clear or pigmented finishes. Its good compatibility with solvents and other polyols provides formulators in advanced material industries flexibility in developing high performance coatings with tailored properties.
