DESMOPHEN 680 BA

DESMOPHEN 680 BA is a branched hydroxyl-bearing polyester that acts as a co-reactant for Desmodur® N in the formulation of two-component polyurethane coatings. DESMOPHEN 680 BA provides benefits like good gloss retention, lightfastness and chalking resistance when used in coatings. It can also be combined with Desmodur® L and HL in the formulation of fast-drying two-component coatings suitable for various applications. DESMOPHEN 680 BA offers hard yet flexible cured films with high gloss, high solids and excellent weatherability and lightfastness properties ideal for protective and decorative surface applications. Its drying properties when used with Desmodur® N are similar to acrylic resin systems, making it well-suited for automotive and industrial coating formulations.
