DESMODUR BL 5375

DESMODUR BL 5375 is a blocked aliphatic polyisocyanate developed for lightfast one-component stoving polyurethane systems. It can be used to formulate high-quality industrial finishes, especially for coil and applications. DESMODUR BL 5375 improves flexibility, tear resistance and adhesion of conventional stoving systems. It also provides good weather stability when combined with Desmophen polyols. Depending on the polyol used, crosslinking of DESMODUR BL 5375 may start at approx. 160 °C. A catalyst like dibutyltin dilaurate can considerably reduce the stoving temperature. DESMODUR BL 5375 in combination with Desmophen polyols results in particularly high flexibility coatings suitable for flexible substrates and impact resistant applications.
