About IMCD Colombia
IMCD Colombia is a leader in formulation, sales, and distribution of specialty chemicals and ingredients. Through acquisitions and organic growth, IMCD Colombia has, in just five years, established seven business units: Pharmaceuticals, Food & Nutrition, Beauty & Personal Care, Coatings & Construction, Home Care, Agrochemicals, and Advanced Materials. The company also operates two specialized technical centers focused on the Personal Care and Food & Nutrition industries.
IMCD Colombia began its journey in 2019 with the acquisition of Unired Química, incorporating the Pharmaceuticals and Food & Nutrition business units. In 2021, the acquisition of Siliconas y Químicos expanded the portfolio to include specialties for the Beauty & Personal Care, Coatings & Construction, and Advanced Materials industries. With the acquisition of Quelaris Colombia in 2022, the company strengthened its product portfolio for the Polyurethane and Rubber industries. In 2023, IMCD enhanced its pharmaceutical portfolio with the acquisition of Allianz International, adding Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). In 2024, with the acquisition of raw materials and ingredient distribution from Joli Foods, it solidified its presence in the food industry market.
Today, with more than 100 passionate employees, deep market knowledge, and extensive technical expertise, IMCD Colombia is recognized as a local market leader, offering innovative solutions and developments that deliver add value to over 1,000 customers in their respective markets.
