TEGO ADDBOND DS 1300

TEGO AddBond DS 1300 is an aqueous dispersion of a modified polyester that improves adhesion of waterborne coatings on various substrates like steel, galvanized steel and aluminum. TEGO AddBond DS 1300 has an active matter content of 45% and appears as a turbid liquid. It improves corrosion resistance and intercoat adhesion. With a hydroxy value of approximately 60 mg KOH/g and viscosity of around 100 mPas, TEGO AddBond DS 1300 is soluble in water and ethanol. It is partly soluble in butylacetate and mineral spirits. TEGO AddBond DS 1300 is suitable for waterborne and solventborne systems as well as 100% radiation-curing processes. As an additive during let-down, TEGO AddBond DS 1300 enhances adhesion to metals and plastics, which is highly beneficial for applications that require maximum bonding to different substrates.
