PROTECTOSIL 100 SK

PROTECTOSIL 100 SK is a high performance solvent-free ethoxy-functional oligomeric siloxane providing an excellent beading effect on mineral substrates. It forms invisible, water-repellent interfacial compounds in pores and capillaries of mineral surfaces. PROTECTOSIL 100 SK treated surfaces have excellent water repellency and prevent ingress of water and water soluble pollutants. It reduces heat conductivity and improves thermal insulation of treated surfaces. Being solvent-free, it ensures normally no visible change of surface appearance and virtually no reduction of vapor permeability. Suitable for impregnation and as barriers to prevent rising damp in porous mineral building materials. Ideal for outdoor applications requiring protection from environmental factors.
