NANOPOX epoxy resins incorporate surface-modified silica nanoparticles, enhancing various properties of fiber-reinforced composites. Compatible with all hardeners and manufacturing processes, they ensure uniform dispersion without sedimentation, even in solvent-based prepregging. Their small size allows them to penetrate fiber structures efficiently, facilitating impregnation without increasing viscosity excessively. This enables utilization of advanced processes like resin infusion, RTM, or resin injection. Beyond boosting mechanical properties like modulus and fracture toughness, NANOPOX formulations improve thermal expansion, shrinkage, and electrical properties, offering comprehensive enhancements for composite materials.
